Great white Pelican -  Pelecanus onocrotalus - بجعة بيضاء كبيرة

Rift Valley - April 22, 2019

A very rare mostly passing bird seldom landing for short periods of time in specific areas. They were recently reported from Aqaba's Bird Observatory. The one in photo was alone and it is probably the first to be ever reported from the Rift Valley. It stayed for few hours to rest and feed before moving on.
